MISSION
The purpose of Epsilon Eta is to create a networking environment that enables members to utilize the fraternity’s resources as they pursue their postgraduate plans in fields involving sustainability. We seek to bridge the gap between environmentalism and professional or business fields. In this process we strive to foster a conscious awareness of the intrinsic relationship between people and their environment through professional development, the community, and service.
FOUNDER'S STATEMENT
"The vision for Epsilon Eta Cornell came from the desire to make change by bringing together those who have similar passions but different disciplines. I hope that Epsilon Eta will help prepare undergraduate Cornellians to be leaders and advocates for sustainability in their respective fields. As the term “sustainability” is so ambiguous, I want to bring clarity to the members of Epsilon Eta of what sustainability could mean for them, both now and in their future careers. Bridging the gap between environmentalism and professionalism, membership in this fraternity will change how our members view themselves and their capabilities within the world around them."
