A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTS

"Hello and welcome to the Kappa Chapter of Epsilon Eta at Cornell University! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and to learn more about our wonderful brotherhood.

Founded in 2017, our chapter is Cornell’s first professional honors sustainability fraternity. Though we require a passion for sustainability to join, we are not solely an “environmental science” fraternity. We welcome undergraduate students from all majors and backgrounds, and strive to foster a community in which people with diverse interests can work together in pursuit of a more just and sustainable world.

By choosing to become a member, you can expect to join a tight-knit community of both current students and alumni. This ever-growing network gives us the tools needed to gain professional experience and to continue to excel academically. As a chapter, we provide our members with the support necessary to achieve their post-graduation goals and to broaden their knowledge on the incorporation of sustainability into various industries.

Epsilon Eta has played a key role in both of our academic, professional, and social lives here at Cornell. Our organization has provided us with the platform to live out our passions for sustainability and environmentalism and incorporate them into other aspects of our lives outside of the classroom. After being inducted as official members, we found ourselves surrounded by a motivated and passionate team of individuals who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and majors but are united by a common enthusiasm for sustainability and environmentalism. By joining Epsilon Eta, you will make connections with people who will become your mentors, friends, and supporters just as we have.

Thank you once again for taking the time to learn about our chapter. We hope to see you during Recruitment."

CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT

Our members are involved with dozens of organizations on campus, including varsity and club sports, service organizations, and more. Additionally, over a quarter of our chapter assists and conducts research with various professors both on and off campus.
