We are Epsilon Eta: Cornell University's first professional honors sustainability fraternity.
We are Epsilon Eta: Cornell University's first professional honors sustainability fraternity.
The Kappa Chapter of Epsilon Eta is more than "classic environmentalism." Cornell's motto is "Any person, any study," and we uphold this statement. Our chapter believes sustainability is for all. We are strongly committed to recruiting individuals who demonstrate ambition for the betterment of themselves, the community, and the planet.
Our members are involved in dozens of organizations on campus and study in diverse majors, representing all of Cornell's colleges. With an average GPA of 3.87, we encourage our members to achieve success both academically and professionally. Visit our Brotherhood page to learn more about our wonderful members.
We value ambition and purpose.
All brothers are given opportunities to advance themselves professionally throughout the semester. Résumé workshops, headshots, elevator pitch development, and more aid our members in building a strong professional profile.
We value friendship and support.
All brothers are required to attend at least two chapter events each semester, though many choose to attend more. Events are both professionally-oriented and social. For more information on campus-wide events, click here.
We value giving back to our community.
All brothers are required to complete at least eight hours of community service each semester. Service hours are strongly encouraged to center around sustainability-related fields, and/or around causes our members are greatly interested in.
